Well the buggy only has a 2.5 g fuel cell so that's like 1/4 the size... I think that was a radiator resi tho so that is sized about right ish???

Was it once more than just a fancy short straw? Also I took my valve thing off today and if it is stuck, it is stuck shut cuz I couldn't blow through it either way... I think it just sucks air through my fuel tank and it comes from the same place that fuel runs out when I fill all the way up... One day ill tank that apart and try and put it back together correctly.

 

Some vehicles with the 2TR in other parts of the world have a fuel filter and the evap canister under the hood, right where the fuel hard lines end. I've thought of retrofitting that fuel filter and if my evap goes out (when it goes out) I'll retrofit that bastard too

 

Got her back to where she was a year ago... So... Much... Fuel haha... Also I think I found my vacuum issue. Where I had everything source was connected with the factory (crap) spring clamp thing; I replaced with a hose clamp and I think this is also why I could only hit 5 psi on a 7 psi spring

Shorted y pipe turbo just enough 3" pipe to get out of the engine bay and a 3' glass pack with a total diameter of 3.5" 90'd infront of the passenger rear tire... And a properly broke in 1gr (220,xxx)

 

So all in all, there was a vacuum leak. Now that it is fixed your fuel trims are better, and the truck runs much better. Correct?

Have you checked all of your other vacuum hose connections?

 

The trims are within 7-10 now so much better and I double checked my other connections and added a zip tie here and here

 

Also thinking about adding this in the mix just so when the wastegate opens its a bit more dramatic... And for less than $30 meh

Umm... I’m using spring clamps

 

it didnt help that where the PCV went to the mani (where i sourced my vacuum) there is no barb on the tube, its just a straight pipe and it would just slide off with just more than no effort... get some hose claps though... can confirm that stock clamp on smooth pipe is good for ~5psi haha

 

I am using brass barbed fittings so maybe I’m good then, nothing just slides right off
