Do you have a free flowing exhaust? Mines a catless 3" system so that could be why im seeing lower boost numbers.

Im sure yours is fine and not slipping. I question my boost gauge. I seem to have slightly higher numbers than others. Not running any wrap mods but running the smaller belt.

Im not running any wrap mods either, but im running the Roush tensioner and a 69" RPM belt. I noticed my snow performance gauge reads about 1psi consistently higher than my AEM. Not sure which one to believe lol gauge could be misleading both of us

Have you done any logs to see what kind of timing you have with that amount of boost? Do you think you could safely push beyond where you’re currently at as far as knock protection is concerned?

I have gathered some data and sent it to Scott, but i havent caroused it myself much. I am also running water/methanol so im guessing i could probably push it a little more and still be in the safe zone if i added another nozzle. I am happy with how the truck runs right now though, so i think i'll leave it be. Here's what Scott said about the 2nd-4th gear WOT data with the 2.3" pulley i sent him

"Hi Robert – thanks for the data!

    All looks nominal.

Flowing 347.5 g/s with 89’F charge temp is very good.

UCon adaptives are well within control envelope

Same 1’ retard in 2nd gear at 4000 – not a big deal.

You can see that 3rd gear is very clean with maintain good angle of 15’.

Cams are fully retarded like they should be at WOT…"

    S

Here's a snazzy graph with a bunch of colors for your viewing pleasure :D

Another win for boomslang. With it, what issues were overcome that you were still having with the old harness? Was the OEM IAC just old?

@Torspd I was told that you think highly of BorgWarner turbos? I am trying to find which one of their turbos would be a good fit for a 3RZ. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That I do. As well as Garrett, to be fair. Priming my oil for can break-in. Be back in a few.

I work at BorgWarner. The transfer case plant. But I am pretty sure we can get all bw parts at cost or a little over cost. I just need to know what to ask about.

If you are going with an s series look for something around 54mm compressor inducer. Making your own manifold?

All the ones that are out there are T3 flange unless KO racing can change to a t25 flange. If I was able to squeeze in an EFR I would of ran one in mine. Also not sure if an efr fits on those manifolds. At the time I was eying down an EFR 7163 that was internal wastegate. The long length and internal gate wouldn't fit in my truck.

Wouldn’t fit because you have a lot of ancillary obstructions correct?

Exactly, decided 10" coil overs are more important than efr. Or I didn't have crazy enough fab skills to make it happen.
