An LS would be cheaper if you do your shopping right. And more power and more reliable.

with 4wd though the CS racing headers won't work. have to modify them.

Instead of modifying them just swap them for turbo headers :D

eh maybe not if you already have an LS. I'd say around 4k if you have to buy an LS and like 3.5-3k if you don't have too, plus one could always sell their current motor and such things

there is an early 80's benz inline 5 diesel that people swap it like 2nd gen 4 runners and stuff that have the 3.blow, and it seems to be a significant improvement as far as a powerhouse goes plus they get like mid 20's mpg. not sure on the weight tho

I may be getting a huge raise this summer and the wife says I can get a new car (get rid of my 99 Accord DD). For about the same price (30k) I dream of doing a diesel swap... Only issue is I don't know how to source a loan...

I hit 12psi (on accident) with stock injectors and hit 9:1. I am assuming I hit 9:1 because the solenoid couldn't keep up and never really closed... I'm gonna call the Oside guy about his injectors and ask him stuff. @Clay_916 seems to be having good luck with his. They're also made in the US (which is good) and the dude has videos showing his work and seem to make a good thing...

Grind it down a bit, try again. Repeat until it holds pressure?

    A thing or two...
The weld is too porous. Grind down the weld, and I'm sure you'll see all the voids/holes. Grind it down and put a weld on there that doesn't look like a pot of boiling water.

This will be the easiest thing to do. You could seal all the ends and add some air and spray some soapy water but u should just start at 0
