Considering buying rods and pistons from LCE while they have the 10% off

How often they do a 10% off?

I just bit the bullet and said screw it on the full spec-U from urd. It was $50 off. Not much but helps with shipping to hawaii. I was going to just do the urd Y pipe and full corsa system but that ended up being like $500 more when coupled together. So URD system ended up being better value especially since I already have a corsa muffler from my previous setup which I’ll be incorporating into the URD system. Plus I wanted the equal length. Not a fan of the magnaflow they use.

 

Why isn't this done already?!

Full boost by 2800 when it’s cold I love how the 5858 spools up.

 

10% is LCE's typical sale that they do at most major holidays (labor day, memorial day, July 4, etc).

 

That improved Density Altitude really wakes things up. How does that torque curve feel to the seat of the pants?

 

Very very noticeable will chirp 33”s in second if I goose it. In 3rd no chirp but the truck starts to accelerate hard. It’s so fun

 

I’m comparing prices between LCE and real street right now. Just going to come down to who offers better quality at this point prices look similar

 

Interesting. Didn't even think that Real St. carried 3rz components.

 

It looks like much of the same LCE is definitely more knowledgeable but their customer service is a few notches below real st in my opinion.

 

Also might buy a 2013 2tr with a blown motor for 900$ this week.

Started that episode last night.

 

I've always followed the BoostedBoiz and PFI Speed, but never realized Shawn has a boosted 4Runner!
You can see it right around the 4:50 mark.

 

I always liked their project cars. I'll have to check out the t4r.
