Hey so I'm getting laid off in 2 weeks so silver lining if any of y'all know of a good job or two local and some affordable housing near by ill stop asking y'all to move to Alabama...

I currently work for a land o lakes owned company and I run a at chemical distribution warehouse for them. I have a few options kinda working right now but nothing set in stone.

 

I mean in a perfect world I would wake up tomorrow with an extra 100k loyal subscribers and yiutube would start sending me checks...

 

Didnt realize hewitt made a bypass kit for the 2TR, thanks for posting up! Will be keeping this in mind if HPtuners doesnt come out with support for us in the future

I don't know if I would count on that. Since YouTube changed their revenue system a year or two ago, most channels I watch has become shills for Audible, NordVPN, Skillshare, Dollar Shave Club, and SimpliSafe to name a few.

No i think im going to get a throttle body spacer to drill and tap to make vacuum ports.
I believe i also need to change out the spring in my bov, im guessing its to light of a spring. But first the vacuum ports are a must. Other then that i stomped on it and heard the turbo spool and then i felt the gods of thunder propel forward into greatness. Once i released the throttle it sounded like i had a bent valve. Idled like shit then died. Started back up ran like shit then it cleaned itself up and purred like a kitten.

How do you have your vacuum lines routed? I didn't have to do any vacuum port nonsense, and mine has never had an issue like that.

 

It sounds like he has no fuel management, so that could explain the running like shit after hitting boost.

 

I'm on stock fueling and ECU, with an 8psi wastegate spring. Zero issues going lean, ever. So I'm gonna go ahead and disagree with you there.

 

It would be going super rich if you are at 8 lbs drop to vacuum causing a stall though right?

 

Never had a stall. Even if I do a quick pull then clutch in to coast.

 

I thought the only time a BOV was an issue like this is if it was vent to atm and it was located post maf but I looked at his setup and it looked good. Even if it doesnt open the boost just goes choo choo back through the turbo so that should be an issue

 

I have it ran to via my brake booster hose from the engine. Everything is connected linear via that. My bov requires its own vacuum line and the destructions state do no hook it in with the fuel regulator and gauges. So i have to figure that one out.
