I'm not sure how the vacuum system is setup on that engine, but you may be pulling un-metered air thru the open pcv vent.

Bw s256 turbo with 3 in glass pack dumped pre axle raptor liner bed and top rails and fenderflares and rocker panels. Hunter side steps. Plasti-dipped upper fenders and emblems. satin black spray paint here and there inside and out. 5100's set to 1.75" up front . C channel front bumper. Maxxis bighorn 255/85/16
Where does that vacuum line go in the 2nd pic? Is that hooked up pre turbo somewhere? If it is when you come off boost it is blowing air out that line

My pcv is vented. As long as where it used to go is capped. Looks fine to me. Unless there is some random emission line causing the bug.

Is the maf too close to the tb? Does it work fine under slow throttle movements?

I am not familiar with your engine, what is the thing under the air intake filter? Looks unhooked.

The pcv hose hooks into the old intake. I put that filter to vent to atmosphere. Did a compression test and theyre about 120-130. Motor is getting a little tired. I keep getting cylinder misfires. It was idling with afr going around 17-19 and my stft was 20% timing was 10degrees advanced. Its almost like its trying to enrich but its having a hard time.

The maf sensor is off a 2007 Toyota highlander 5 wire with same inputs and outputs. The maf sensor is reading airflow and im not getting any codes for the maf. If i unplugg it itll runn a little better but itll be super rich 8-9 afr and go into open loop

Sounds like a vacuum leak somewhere.

Well took it for a drive and said fuck it and drove it like i should. Cleared right up for some reason. Runs good peak boost was 6.1. Got the bov fumctioning correctly with the correct spring. Its not a race car but i can lug it up a hill in 5th and keep gaining speed so im super impressed.

I now have to build my patch harness and then wire in my mapecu.

Being able to lug a 4 banger in overdrive is the best. Glad the bugs worked out.

Im getting a lot more accurate reading now. Im probably going to message you and a lot of other guys here about the map ecu

I went to the junkyard and paid 5 dollars for the male ends. My buddy had a 2007 highlander that was wrecked on his trailer he was parting out. He gave me the ecu cause i worked on his 6.0 powerstroke. I took the ecu apart and then cut off the solder points from the circuit board and bingo now i have the femal connector

If there is or are any vacuum hoses that currently connect between the intake manifold and the valve cover, you have essentially created a vacuum leak. Because you have that breather on the valve cover.

Again, IF there is one single vacuum hose between the plastic intake manifold and the valve cover, then those vacuum connections must be capped and disconnected. As the intake would be drawing in unmetered air, post MAF sensor, through that filter. Quite a lot of air. That will cause a lot of codes and operational issues. Double check.
