Can confirm because my laptop didn't(doesn't) have a CD Rom drive

 

I looked on the website that software needed for the afr calibrator and it said 54 dollars i believe

 

yeah I’m unfamiliar with the afr module. Figure they group the software into the mapcal since you can’t do anything unless you have hardware

 

This is the AFR module that you need for the MAPECU.

If you bought something else, you bought the wrong thing. It ties into the MAPECU3 and the MAPCAL software controls it.

Thats what i bought. Didnt you need to get software to manipulate it

 

The mapecu3 software... Seems like its in the f7 tab... It says something like "AFR" what ever tab it is up there like "fuel table" "timing" "aux injector" and "logs"


Also that is not what you sent a screen shot of. Mine says mapecu on it and the one you sent says urd... And seems to be ~$125 more

 

I am also running the MAPECU AFR module, not the URD one, with my MAPECU3

Yeah that's a module for urd stuff. Mapecu is half the price.

Maybe you can get store credit to change out for the mapecu. I've been meaning to get a urd short shift for a while.

What you said you bought is different from what @yota243 and I posted that you need. Return it if you can.

What you bought is URD's version of a piggyback tuner. The MAPECU has way more functionality. If you can't return it just list it for sale in the buy/sell sub forums. It will take awhile to sell, and you likely won't get much for it though.

 

I'd return it. Why use 2 different softwares when it can be done all under 1. Tuning will be easier. Mapecu is way better than that box.

 

Yes, while that could work alongside the Mapecu it's meant to be a standalone and not work in conjunction with the Mapecu. So he's playing word games with you, def tell him you need to return it for the product these guys say you need.

 

Ok yeah im going to return it. I dont want to have to jump one software to another to alter signals.
