It should be noted the diagram i posted above is for 2005-2012 2TRs. Plugs on the ECU changed for 13-15 year models, i believe

In addition to boosting my truck, I'm looking at lowering it since it's a 5lug two wheel tire smoker. Any of you guys who have done this, which parts/methods did you use and how have they held up? I'm looking at the djm 3" drop front control arms and xrunner struts. I want to stay away from doing blocks in the rear, but also don't want to cut and C-notch. Any thoughts/ideas?

In my hilux, i used the djm 3" drop control arms, and i also have bc coilovers in the front. It has a fair bit of bump steer. For the rear i c notched chassis, 4 link and qa1 coils. I used to have 2" blocks and 3" reset leafs, youll need to cut your bump stops off and make new flat ones

I used to off-road with this guy. I like the look of his 5 lug, but I have no idea if it any good with handling. It’s his work truck and drives it very conservative.

I was thinking the other day. If you were on a budget could you just install your leaves upside down amd drop a couple inches? I assume shorter shocks would be needed so they didn't bottom out... But how would that work? I'm not in the market as if anything I would be heading the other direction

Upside down leafs wouldn’t work because the front hangers won’t bolt it. The ride would be pretty bad too. Your spring rate would decrease as you compress. the smaller leaves would start to unload as you compress. Blocks would be the cheapest solution.

Here's a little more info brother. I dont believe the yellow is used for anything. See the second pic for the afr adj wiring connections. Should use red (+), black (-), white (control), and blue (signal)

Notice, the urd instructions are referring to the factory harness as Plug A, which was plug E4 on the previous diagram posted

Well completely frankensteined my turbo. Bought a. 48 turbo off ebay with hopes of just swapping the turbine housing for my cracked one since I couldn't find just the housing or an affordable t3 t04e 48ar 70ar anywhere. The serial numbers on my turbo didn't match anything I could find that came equipped on anything. Any who the turbines were ever so slightly different so the new housing would not sit all the way down without contacting the turbine. So I disassembled the the other turbo, put that turbine and shaft into mine and everything seems to good.

I'm probably going to regret it but if it works it works. If I was building high boost I'd be worried about balance but for now I'm not. I was actually surprised to see balance marks on the ebay turbo. I would have just used that one but the inlet and outlet are smaller than my current setup and I didn't want to rework everything again.
