    as long as I make it beefy, I’ve had good luck with my home brewed mild turbo headers.

    I haven’t off-road since installing the turbo so maybe that has something to do with it.

    Being that you already have a MIG & TIG, you could repair the gooches and throw in a support. Saving yourself some coin.
    Pretty sad that the shops don't want to replicate something, as making a jig for that wouldn't take much time. Either way, some schedule pipe or schedule stainless pipe would be pretty easy and a good learning experience.

    Was yours mild steel, or stainless, or other? Cannot remember.

    Cutting the flange off, then welding on the 2TR flange might work. As long as the center lines of both heads' exhaust ports line up.

    Just looked at this again. It has a lot of porosity and ferrous metal fused in. Makes me wonder what the filler is and the true grade of the "stainless".

    Hey guys, I think I might have realized the issue I was having and thought was exhaust.
    Around the same time I changed the exhaust a buddy gifted me a new Optima AGM battery. I soon learned that our alternators won't properly charge AGMs and in turn did the ALT-S diode trick. Guess what that does- throw off all sorts of maps in my tune! Injector Dead Time, Ignition Dwell Time and anything else calibrated to voltage. I replaced the diode with the original fuse and immediately noticed a difference.

    I tuned my COPs to .2v below saturation, this had me running them in saturation the whole time :mad:

    Yes, I’ll have to charge it once a month. Once it goes out I’ll just replace with standard battery.

    I have an agm and haven't had an issue from charging that I know of yet.

    Bw s256 turbo with 3 in glass pack dumped pre axle raptor liner bed and top rails and fenderflares and rocker panels. Hunter side steps. Plasti-dipped upper fenders and emblems. satin black spray paint here and there inside and out. 5100's set to 1.75" up front . C channel front bumper. Maxxis bighorn 255/85/16
    They make a solar trickle charge. I bought one at Lowe's like 10 years ago for less than $20 and it has suction cups and I shoved it down my dash and stuck it to the windshield out of my line of sight. It says not to leave it hooked up while the car is on but it has an over charge protector on it amd I never had any issues. Its only 125 ma but it charges during all day light hours so it may be enough to keep it up

    AGMs require a higher charge voltage to maintain 100%. There’s guys who do nothing and their batteries last a while but it won’t ever charge to 100%, I’ve read 90%.

    Could very likely be part of the reason why my AGM's have such a short life. Every now and then I'll have to charge mine as well. Typically after it has been sitting for about a week or two.

    That and AGMs don’t handle heat well, I didn’t know that until it was already installed

    They dont make one for 2tr-fe. I plan on going to the parts store and getting a gasket for the ones to fit to see if the exhaust ports line up. If so then ill buy the log kit

    Im going to try and patch the original manifold. From there i am going to build a custom manifold preferably a log one due to my hypothesis and theyre being easier to make just in case we get fellow yota gentleman wanting to make snail trails.
