Need to still lean my truck out up above 4K rpms. Also add more boost. Starting to feel slow. Should be able to play with the tune this week. Everyone is driving around again finally.

Truck feels slow to me today. Looks like I’m going to need to fix that. Should be fun.

This is also why we have a fuel filter to protect those injectors. (For people not having installed the filter).

Where have you bought your gas from regularly?

I bet your truck is going to run great! Once you change the sock and the fuel filter.

 

Bought it from the same station. It came from that protector for the pump from aem. The gas dissolved it and caused it to plug

 

That rubber-ish isolator which goes over the sock?

Was that an E85 rated pump?

Does anyone have the factory resistance values for the ignition coils? I had a slight hesitation issue, that actually felt like a rev-limiter the other day when in boost. I had that happen once when a coil was on its way out. I had a minute today to test all the coils I had laying around, and testing between the 1st and 4th terminals, I had varied results. The 1st and 4th terminals are Black/Red and Black/White:

OEM D2: (1-2)=0.31 (1-4)=Open
OEM D4: (1-2)=0.32 (1-4)=Open
OEM B4: (1-2)=0.32 (1-4)=Open
OEM B2: (1-2)=0.32 (1-4)=Open
ACCEL1: (1-2)=0.50 (1-4)=17.34
ACCEL2: (1-2)=0.48 (1-4)=17.20
DuraLast 1: (1-2)=0.48 (1-4)=16.86
DuraLast 2: (1-2)=0.48 (1-4)=16.76
DuraLast 3: (1-2)=0.49 (1-4)=16.91

When i tested cylinders 2-4 on the truck, I had results nearly identical to the OEM coils above. My cylinder 1 had the identical values of the Accel and Duralast coils.

Just trying to see what the deal is here...cause I hate cylinder 1 hahaha

 

As my own personal preference, all E85 rated pumps. Since ethanol is in most regular fuels. Its corrosive nature is still at play.

Aside from that, any plans to share that with them, or not really worth your time?

 

Ill let them know. Got nothing better to do. Couldnt believe that non sense. Now she runs like a raped ape. I can spool and get after it. Next is a compound turbo setup
