    On my 1.8l I went from 10 to 20psi and it was +/-40hp and 60tq gain. Now at 30psi and calculations show about another 100/100 added and more when tuned correctly. Going from N/A to 20psi will be a big difference plus it’s more displacement.

    This is from that vendor's website. Obviously the car was factory boosted. I had a factory exhaust at first with the tune but it was a very noticeable gain. Then I went catless with 3" downpipe back to factory 60mm exhaust and it opened up a good bit, especially the spool time decreased. I was outrunning stock 4th and 5th gen Mustang GTs at this point. Later I added a full 3" turbo back and it made a very noticeable difference as well. All that said, it seems highly likely I came in on the low side of those numbers and worked up to the high side.

    Don't hold me to it but this map looks promising. I found it on my VW forum and it's overlaid for a 2.0L engine. After comparing a few other maps there that were made showing various displacements for the same turbo it looks like this one will slide over to the left +/-1400rpm for 2.7L. The red graph is supposed to be the he351. It should have positive pressure by 1200 (sound about right?) and 20psi by 2200 then hold that 20psi out to 6500/7000rpm.

    Positive pressure at near idle... maybe. Also depends on the header no?

    Yes. Also theoretically mapped off of compressor. Holset has several variations under the same named turbo. Engine would need to be under load also.

    Yeah, I get boost dang near anytime I want. I like the turbo. I know a proper tune will make a world of difference.

    Getting close. Got the timing chain on and was 1 tooth off so had to take the cams back out and line everything back up. But about another good hour or two and she aught to be ready to fire up (I got the throttle body and injectors back in after this pic)

    We will see how this oil problem goes and how well it runs now that its back together... Also probably just gonna wait till I get $4500 and buy the near plug and play kit they have already designed for the 2nd if and when lol
