I've always thought it would be neat to wire a winch up to the cruise control stalk

That'd be cool. The ‘one touch’ auto up/down of the electric window switch would be handy for those of us with a manual tranny.

I had to give up on stealth. People ask why I don’t have more switches.

One of my good friends who's going to be helping with the turbo build sent me this. It's scarily accurate I think. A40488FB-306C-4E85-B183-BE4C59FFE216.jpg

Ex coworker just got a Precision 8284 for his Cheby truck. It’s replacing a 7276. He had the rear end 4 linked last month. Puts things in perspective quick. Lol. Mostly tunnel vision really.

Remember kids, if you're doing an upgraded turbo that has been "port matched" you should always check what it was port matched to. In this case not the stock header on the car, as the port matched gasket here shows. So we ordered the upgraded header and will be putting this back together in two weeks.

Edit: rather than spend 500 on the header, we're giving it a go with a die grinder to hog out the factory one to port match.20B2517C-13BB-4DBC-AA10-E18568202BAD.jpg

EBC pads. Awesome. Paired with Stoptech rotors.

I've been looking at the stoptech big brake kit as a serious possibility. And if I start racing it I may look further into a cage.

    A thing or two...
A cheap intermediate solution is upgrading to 4-runner front brakes.

Ebc on stock size Stoptech inside 15" rims out performs Tundra upgrades (not 4runner, not Tundra, Tundra upgrades) in 16" rims with Toyota pads. Ebc on those rotors/calipers would be awesome!

Seriously, my Taco with 15" rims and 35s out stops my 4runner with Tundra upgrades with 32s. Ebc pads are awesome.

For whatever reason I have not head this before. Being a ‘99 and loving my 15” steelies and the fact 33s in this wheel size are nearly dirt cheap, I will be looking into this since I’m due for some brakes sooner than later.

Guys I have a quick question

My 1uz is running hella rich and I realized I am running 1st gen pistons with a 2nd gen ecu. Both have the same injectors and the only real difference between generations is the compression.

    1st gen - 10.0:1

    2nd gen - 10.4:1

Would that difference be enough to run super rich? I can see the ecu fuel trims go to -20 and there's still to much fuel.

I know it isn't really a turbo question but you guy know more about tuning than anyone else on here.
