Picked this up from Amazon and should be here Thursday. I noticed that the driver's side drain (the one with the 90* bend) does that have any heat protection so this will help a lot. I'm thinking the manifold may be cooking the oil as it drains too.

What sort of benefits did you find running both? I'm going to use Turbosmart kompact shortie plumb backs for the crv and a raceport for the external BOV. I figured I trust a piston of a diaphragm anyway.

I cannot remember why I tried it. I think because I was running 17 psi at the time and was trying some different things out? I don't remember. Regardless, there isn't any compressor surge. Lol.

Ok the more I think about it the more I want to clock the passenger turbo to 0*. I need to pop out the chra because the middle bolt for the wastegate bracket has the coolant line fitting on the center section in the way. I need to literally take the whole thing out to take the fitting out to take the bracket off but at least we know it'll be right and I can change the drain flanges while it's out

It's a BS thread for a reason. And you're talking about turbos. We like it.

These things are super nice! .675 at the flange side opening and .500 at the an side. I need to maintain a minimum of .375 throughout the whole oil drain. My smallest is .450

They didn't have too big of a selection when I got my PTE turbo from them. They sure are nice flanges.

Thanks I'm excited about putting them on and making sure I never have a drain issue again. Is your PTE a T3/T4 flange?

Yeah it is that style. I have a Russell fitting which is ok. I don't leak so might as well keep it.

Of all things, I never installed an oil pressure regulator. I always had plans to install a pressure sensor but never got to it, sad really. I ordered the Turbosmart OPR and that'll go on sooner than later. I'm trying to think of a way to have it drain into the valve cover, I've used all my space on the upper oil pan. I'm thinking use the PCV port I plugged.

I've gotta see what the upper oil pan looks like if you've used all the space!
