    New turbo should be here by tomorrow. Looking at the old one I am not sure if it's bad. The wheel is off balance ever so slightly and you really have to look for it. Doesn't seem like there's a way to tell without sending to Borg Warner to assess. I can hear the bearings rubbing in there so I think it's toast

    It sounds even. No strange oscillations and spins for a good while. Easier to hear those prying birds than the turbo itself.

    Should be very negligible, but a was trying to watch for shaft play as well.

    Maybe you could send it in to have it inspected?

    At this point though, you already have another core coming, so just depends to you.

    Yea I'm not convinced that turbo is bad either but the new turbo will tell me pretty instantly if it's an issue. I felt a grinding noise while driving before getting home yesterday. May have been the bov elbow getting ready to pop off too because it happened pretty much around the same time.

    Yea I'm gonna send it to Full Race I think who will send it to Borg Warner.

    I mean I did pay for priority overnight shipping :notsure:

    I did call FedEx and I sorta made out what he was saying. Either the plane took the wrong tarmac or it went on wrong plane and got sent to Memphis. Sat in Memphis all morning and now is on another plane here. Luckily Full Race was cool about it and will refund me the difference on the shipping if it doesn’t miraculously show up today.
