Plasti-dipped upper fenders and emblems. satin black spray paint here and there inside and out. 5100's set to 1.75" up front . C channel front bumper. Maxxis bighorn 255/85/16
    The one in the mapecu3... It's possible that it got changed or that it was always wrong lol

    Any particular reason you just wanna start with 5 psi? Can you get away without a tuner at 5 psi with an injector swap? Seems like an awful lot of money and time to invest for a ~50% increase. I don't have the 3.4 but I feel like there are several on here with stock internals pushing more without issue

    All the research I’ve done says the 1st gen ECUs are good to 5-6psi due to TRD making superchargers available. Now whether the ECU was designed with low boost in mind or if it was just capable of handling it I never found a definite answer for.

    just seen vftuner now has support for 1st gen ecu tuning. no need for finicky piggyback ecus anymore. looks like its only for 01-04 years though so no good for my 95

    GTX 3071r @8psi...
    He's capping the manifold's turbo inlet and wastegate ports, to run it NA until he decides what turbo combination to go with. This way he can remove the block-off plates and mount the turbo and gate without having to swap manifolds at the time.

    Personally I'd wait and do it all at once, and do it right.

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
    Disconnected MAF? Wires melted? I had to re-rout my MAF wires; if you have a 5VZ-FE and you didn't, you'd might be smelling some burnt wire and getting a P0110 code.

    Excluding all of that, maybe a vacuum leak or just a bad MAF.

    P0110 is IAT I believe.

    Correct. Unless the 5vz uses a separate IAT sensor, then it is integrated in the MAF sensor.

    5vz maf is integrated. I've run the turbo with no Ic to start and didn't get a code.

    I would say start with wire check as stated, move to Maf cleaner next, finally try a maf from a known good vehicle.
