    Yeah, just another option available like boost by gear that will give you a little bit extra.

    Is an electric boost adder along the same lines of what you’re looking for (if I’m understanding correctly)?

    I saw a set up with two large grade D O2 tanks that was on a switch they used basically like nitrous for a drag car... But it would last longer for you if it was just supplemental boost... Plus it was stupid cold air

    So I threw a stock grille on before a 2 hour drive for some camping and I ended up having to pull the grille off because the temps were sitting at 216* F :bananadead:

    Im sure the ac didn't help but I live in South Florida lol. I did have the ac only kick on the fans with a trinary switch (so only at a certain pressure) but I think the way to go now is when it's on so are the fans.

    Definitely need to do some more testing just not with the gf trying to go on vacation lol.

    I do plan to get some hood louvers and already have a 10* lower thermostat on the way.

    Needs AC to get to campsite. Tent camps. Lol. I’ve tent camped several times further north in the Ft Walton area. Hot as balls in the day but nights are nice near the beach.

    When I put my sleeved engine in, I had an aftermarket grill. Perforated circular holes. Engine temps climbed too high for my taste while driving. Right around yours. This was before my electric fans were installed.

    Took the grill off and went for a drive. Instantly better.

    That thin diamond mesh is about the best you can do, besides just removing the middle all together.

    Yeah I did a couple of long drives before and had no issues so it was pretty obvious since I just put the new grille on. I originally bought it to cut it back up as my old grille was but I was kinda digging the stock look again.

    Let's just say it's nice to be able to pass again.

    I splurged and got a new TurboSmart 45mm gate to replace the old but still functional Tial 44mm. Nothing wrong with the old one, just wanted a freshie. However I really like how easy it is to change springs on the GenV 45mm. Just push on the top hat and use the supplied wrench to spin off the locking nut. Takes 30 seconds as opposed to undoing 6 little bolts on the Tial.
    I actually lowered the boost from 10 to 7 just to ease back into things.

    I too enjoy that spanner wrench design. I really like their ball joint design for internal setups as well.

    These are from a while ago. Or at least this one, until the signal gets better. Treadstone Performance end tanks, with a diverter. Compared to the one from URD which came without a diverter.
