    It could be that you need to adjust the frequency range for you new engine. @JustDSM found while tuning trucks with aftermarket cams, that the knock threshold needed to be adjusted some. Maybe something similar is going on with your engine?

    What are you guys using for turbo drain/feed lines? I know -10an for the drain, but what fittings? 45? 90? Male or female at the pan? Weld bung male/female? Thanks

    I smoked a speed bump in the Audi and it cracked my oil pan at the drain plug. Lost a quart of oil in a week before I realized it. Ordered a new pan but on this you have to raise the motor 4” or more to remove and install. I have a spare motor with forged internals so it’s getting yanked and put on the stand for fresh bearing and inspection and block painting. Oil pan going on then the FBook used rs4 240mm SMF mated to a 400/400 rates clutch assembly. Big turbo will follow as soon as funds allow an ECU remap to support it. 3 months should be enough time to get it done.

    I forgot the gratuitous pics. Here the pan. I spackeled that dude up with some red gasket material for now and holding well.
