I bet none of y'all can make 7.5 psi at 0 rpms... Anybody with a mapecu3 know what the heck is going on? It just slowly keeps creeping up, I noticed it at 1.5 last year, then 3 psi a couple months back, and the last week or so it has been running pretty bad so I thought "maybe it has fixed itself and I can tune the zones where they are supposed to be, but it makes 0 psi at idle... That's quite unfortunate

 

My secondary table was all at +2.35 so I zeroed that out and noticed the graphs physical position was very different from primary to secondary... There is a noticable gap along the edges in primary that isn't there in secondary

 

Make the scaling of each map match each other.

 

Like -24inhg to 15 psi? I just deactivated the secondary table, but that may not have been the thing today because about a mile from my house this morning she died lol. It was running bad lean. I hitched a ride to work and I'll see if it can get it going this afternoon

 

As well as RPM.

I cleared the codes and the first thing that popped up this morning was a mass air volume something or another, so I had a space MAF sensor and thought I might could just swap them out (I was running a no namer from ebay and figured it had crapped the bed) I didn't have a screw driver on my truck but I improvised... Just too bad that didn't fix it

I'm bout to catch a ride home and see if I can get it running again

 

Does your dashboard show pressure at idle? You could just be hovering over that cell to adjust

 

It shows 0 vacuum at idle and 7.9 boost when the truck is off. I always double check to make sure follow me is turned on. I drove the truck home. Got the secondary but it's table is all wonky and it won't let me adust while it is connected, so I adjust the secondary table disconnected and went to upload it and it said error could not write

 

Hmm yeah. I'm confused. My only guess is the on board sensor took a shit. Wire in an external sensor.
Can't help with the secondary table. I only run on a primary table. It's been over a year since I played with my tune so I'm pretty rusty truck related stuff right now.

 

I don't use my secondary table either that's why I thought I could just deactivate it... I thought incorrectly it seems. I just adjusted the fuel tables from idle to 3k in my normal driving range for now till I can get everything in and some time... That latter part is the hard one

 

I should rephrase. I only use primary because my i4 is a single bank.

 

What year is your 2rz engine and ecu from? I looked briefly at RockAuto to compare the part number of your photographed MAF sensor to those available for year models around your engine.

You very well have the wrong MAF sensor. Even the 2006+ 2TR has a different part number.

 

Well thanks for that. My 2RZ is an 03. Its crazy those part numbers are 1 digit off from each other. I’m an idiot.. let’s see if that clears up my race cam idle

I have a bad o2 sensor new out of the box too.
I think I figured out my PSC steering reservoir placement last night and need one more fitting to get it plumbed up..

Ill take one item at a time I guess. Getting real close though.

 

I'd like to see where you put your steering reservoir. I'd love to upgrade my pump.

 

Well if you don't need the volume I do, Id go with the PSC TC pump with the integrated Resi and the Chilkat pump bracket.

Placement on mine has been a bitch since I have Full Hydro steering and the 8.75" tall resi. No way around cutting a hole in my hood for clearance.

 

Would you look at that. That is a great package. I don't need volume. It's just the factory rack. Maybe a cooler by the radiator.

Yeah there is no room around the hood with the pump up so high. Also I'm not ditching my AC.
