I looked into it extensively. At the end of the day, I didn't want to sacrifice any fluid capacity. They have a few different versions of that pump with the integrated resi. all just about the same price. Give or take 50 bucks.

Looks like the new MAF cleared all the codes and made the wideband actually put out some decent readings. This engine wants to scream…

I'd be curious how the factory rack would handle an aftermarket pump like that. Would be cool to upgrade the pump, but I'd imagine there's a line you don't wanna cross in regards to how much pump the rack can handle. The balance between pressure and flow make for different steering characteristics with a rack and pinion.

I'll try that out. It might be enough. Drill bits and ATF. Doesn't get cheaper than that. I'm sure there is a bit of overhead but not too much in the factory rack. Big off road tires aren't the best either. I want to say I know of someone that has a tc style pump going to their rack in a first gen. The second gen trucks are doing that upgrade pretty often.

Ya I've seen the howe pump on the 2nd and 3rd gens a good bit now. JD fab makes a nice piece of kit for them. No love for the 1st gens though

Jd gave that platform a ton of love.
This turbo made my truck friggen fast and everything else needs love now.
Someone is designing a rack but he's pretty early in the design phase.

One day I'll turbo my 3rz when I can figure out what to do about the smog part of it.
Didn't know someone was designing a rack. Curious to see how that pans out

It would be interesting to see what kind of pressure/volume the stock pump puts out. Most of the tc pumps put out 1200 to 1600 psi.

According to that thread, stock pumps do 1400 psi max. OP was able to up that to get 1800psi with the mods he did.
Although flow characteristics would be different at those high pressures on the tc and psc pumps I would imagine

LS1-T56 swap, Z06 ported heads, cam, Titanium valves, Kevlar clutch. Now building a forged stroker (383) and all the ponies! Old setup was rod-knockin on heaven's door...
Ok so its me again...Ive gotten my engine and trans mounted, core support bolted back on (yes I know they are welded, mine is removable now so I can remove drivetrain due to swap) Its getting really close now. I am going to build a 2 or 3 stage oil/air separator using all -10 fittings. I have the dual 450 Walbro pumps for the fuel delivery (since E85 needs about 40% more fuel than gas), used -8 PTFE lines to and from the engine, so I'm getting pretty close now!

Now I need to finish up the exhaust from the Turbo, it will be 4" stainless from the Turbo to the muffler then 4" Aluminum for the tailpipe portion.
It's a lot of work to get all the details dialed in and that's considering I've done a ton of turbo setups, I can't wait to drive it with the hairdryer..gonna be ridiculous!

Ok... So weird mission I have for all the spare time y'all have... I want a boost actuated valve, preferably fitted with 1/2" fittings on the flow sides

Who all builds manifolds? FleaBay was fruitless the last two days besides a t3 mani out of Australia. Looking for a simple t3 or td05. Thinking hx35 or a used Volvo. Not looking for performance but daily drivability. Wanting spool by 2-2500.

Anything along these lines. Little more bling than the basic log.
