    I should have photos in my build thread. I think it was May of 19'. I'll try any find it later this evening. It worked well enough I suppose. Not the prettiest thing. I might try and mold/weld some plastic for the next one.

    Ik22 are good for SC, works fine for turbo too. That's what I'm currently running on 8psi.

    Also definitely use a Bov or recirc valve. When you close the throttle, pressure builds up in the charge piping and overpowers the compressor wheel causing the assembly to spin backwards for a moment. It makes a cool noise called flutter, but it is a bad thing for turbo life span. I saw a guy loose a new gt3076 on the dyno because his bov had seized closed.
    Tial and TurboSmart make quality valves. I'm using the TurboSmart plumb back on mine.

    What did CX provide on the turbo itself and for a drain fitting? Pics?

    I wouldn't put larger injectors in unless you're going to be using a piggyback or standalone. But maybe consider a FMU (fuel pressure regulator that causes greater enrichment under boost) 3:1,6:1... something in there. I know someone who is selling a Toyota specific one

    Ok cool. The 7163 EFR was recommended earlier. Any other recommendations I should look at? Wanting to keep the low end torque of the S/C up to 10psi or so.

    Being an all inclusive turbo, nope. That's just my opinion though.

    Working on a 1GR turbo manifold. With cross-over to follow. This one has been quite tricky. Soon to work on the 2TR turbo manifold that I started a while ago.

    Unfortunately you're just a touch far away for me to drop mine off for a year or two :rofl:

    edit: that would be some real tight packaging for an underslung, and it would suffer from heat soak in that location I would think.

    I'll need to get more pictures of the hardware and stuff that came with the turbo. I know there are some banjo fitting in there and I knew i should have gotten more pictures before stuffing it back on the parts shelf.

    I forgot about the tuning requirements with different injectors. So ill definitely keep it stock for now.

    What FMU is it and who's got it?
    I've seen a few FMU installs recently but I don't remember exactly where.

    @BananaMan , it was either within the course of one day or two, I had the manifold mocked up for @BassAckwards. Regardless, plenty of OEM's use the style. In the case of the 2TR, it'd make it easier to retain the SAIS functionality.

    The underslung design would help substantially with downpipe packaging as well. My downpipe was a pita and it still doesnt fit well. I will be rebuilding it again at some point.

    How far forwards does the turbo sit currently? I would think there'd be enough room to clear the rear header pipe and take a 75 degree or so turn down to follow the factory ish routing for the down pipe?

    Here's a look at the included hardware for my CX Racing setup.

    Using my Sesame Street smarts identifying shapes and color I believe I know where it all goes but I don't know what the banjo bolt and brass tubes are supposed to be supplying, they bolt on at the 3 and 9 o'clock position with the oil lines at 12 and 6

    Those banjos and brass tubes supply coolant because that's a ball bearing Turbo and it needs more than just oil to keep it cool. Looks like you got about everything there though. We'll just have to figure out what fitting goes in the top so you can get an oil supply line too. Looks like it might be a 4AN or 6AN

    This doesn't help in closed loop, does it? From my understanding the ecu wants to see stoic and will just trim the excess fuel out. Is this correct?

    The answer is yes and no, the enrichment is so instantaneous it will still richen up and the computer over time can trim it out. But because it has no effect on cruising range (any out of boost range) it tends to do much better than other methods of helping get enough fuel in. It richens well over what the computer can compensate for in a reasonable amount of time, but usually doesn't throw a code because it doesn't affect cruising steady state ranges.
