I've bought everything essential except a couple of small ins and outs.
I'm hard stuck on how I want to run my intercooler and charge piping. This is my largest hold up at the moment. I had some great tips from some of the guys in here. But I'll be putting this project off until the fall. My truck was down all last summer. So I'll be getting out there doing lots this summer. come october/november I think I'll have ironed out some details and be ready to dive in.

Finally drove it again. On flat ground in 4th it makes positive pressure at 1500rpm, 1250rpm with a uphill grade. Full boost at ~3000rpm. 35r w/1.03 housing, no boost controller.

Got me all excited, my engine is going back in this weekend. I'll have quickspool and a smaller exhaust housing so it should light up pretty good.

Your straight from turbo to intake too right, no intercooler?

I'm planning an intercooler set up so should put me a bit deeper into the rpms which should suite staying out of cruising boost hopefully but guess I'll find out soon enough

Ah that's right, my bad. Hmm, I'm a little concerned now about staying out of boost at cruising speed but guess I'll find out. Ems is in the plans but might be sooner now rather than later

Load is what spools the turbo faster. I'll start building pressure when I'm stalling out rock crawling. Cruising I won't see positive pressure until I'm going over 80mph

Yea I think for the majority of the time I'm going to be OK. However, when I am loaded I'm pretty heavy. I don't know exact numbers but 2 dogs (labs), rtt, rack, sliders, fridge, and truck/camp boxes full up. I'm definitely due for some suspension upgrades too which are next up after the boost.

Definitely look at leaf springs first if on originals. Axle wrap is bad enough let alone start adding more power.

Roger, currently original leafs with wheelers 3 leaf add a leaf pack. New OME front and back is in the plans, were going to be sooner until I bumped the boost up the list

Can't wait to see this come together. You have an IC kit figured out?

Yeah measuring for one of the ones from frozen boost. Water to air is kinda the only option I have avail. Hey do you have any pics of your oil drain bung location on your pan, I found a decent area and got it put on, but I'm not 100% sure if it is above the level or not
