Water to air will keep the pipes short so that's good. Won't have to ruin the grill either.

It's a trimmed 90 up off the pan to -10. Sits behind Ac compressor. Had to cut down a crescent wrench handle to be able to tighten it.

 

Also the turbo sits high, so you should have a good bit of length on the hose. Shouldn't back up.

 

Hmm okay, I put the 90 pretty much exactly in the same spot but maybe lower on the pan, hard to tell from that pic, but yeah it is a long line to the drain. This look okay to you?

Yeah I'm stoked on it, eager to see how ceramic coating holds up. I've never had any parts that had it applied before.

I layed my OEM heads on mine and also thought they seemed pretty damn good glad to see you have good news too. I wish I had that downpipe to go with it

 

Which spring are you using? I believe it comes with the green spring which at the high end is 19 vacuum and could be just out of range if idle is above that. Also, dumb question but I am overthinking, this doesn't have to be recirculated right? It can vent to atmosphere just as well?

 

You don't want to vent to atmosphere with the stock computer since that is venting metered air and will cause a rich spike that often causes a stall condition

 

I am planning to run my MAF post turbo closer to TB, but not too close, and BOV closer to turbo far enough away from MAF? So the air would be unmetered and shouldn't matter right?

 

thinking more, even set up this way there will be some metered air but the majority of it will be unmetered. Will the amount of metered air between the MAF and TB be enough to cause a problematic rich spike and stall? hmm I am auto trans so maybe not when pulling boost through gears, but possible more likely from WOT to completely off the pedal
