    Awesome, congrats!

First two bullit points are good, don't need the 3rd one.

More importantly, what are you doing for fuel and timing control? Knock is the real killer.

Might want a check valve in the EVAP purge line

Plan for now is to run 4psi WG springs, stock ecu, Split Second Enricher for closed loop partial boost fueling. Down the road, may introduce meth to supplement addition fueling/cooling if I turn boost up higher, but ultimately looking at the Haltech piggyback ecu tuning situation

You might be able to get away with that. Just be careful and listen for knock.

I couldn't make it out of the neighborhood when I first installed my SC. Literally just turned around because it was pinging with any boost. Put in Fic and pulled timing 1° per psi and it's been great ever since. Does the Split second enricher have a timing map?

Are you running colder plugs gapped down?

The IC will help your knock along with the slower spool of turbo (compared to instant SC) and low boost level (4 vs 6). The factory knock sensors turn on at 3k rpm and adjust timing from there to redline in closed loop constant feed back. Ecu then builds a timing map for below 3k for when it's eyes are closed. The less you can boost below 3k, the safer you will be. Obviously watch Afr too.

Moral of the story is you will want a timing control eventually and to be careful and not just hammer it everywhere.

Split Second just wires in parallel with the stock AFR o2 sensor, and manipulates the signal to tell the ECU its running lean triggering of boost feed which I can adjust to turn on when I want and believe can also adjust how much to manipulate the signal so its pushes more/less fuel. https://splitsec.com/product/lsc1-001-universal-fuel-enrichment-module

I was looking at FIC but seeing as they are discontinued they are hard to come by... and everyone seems to be team Haltech here now so figured I would join the ranks at some point to simplify any troubleshooting/issues I will have.

Yes, IK22 plugs and gap is at .038.

Yea, that was also my plan with the 3582 was to put boost a bit higher in RPM range so that normal city driving I was out of boost and safe in a sense. SS to stay rich if hitting boost in closed loop, and then open loop should be good with stock set up at the PSI planned initially. I also have Boost and Precision AFR gauges going in as well to monitor closely.

Sounds pretty good. Might close the gap on plugs a hair, but if it doesn't blow the spark out you are fine.

BC559958-69D3-495E-9BAF-6D355442482C.jpg I finally got the beast running at gate pressure (7psi) holy shit....an LS swapped 1st gen is a good time.
Also changed the exhaust system from a single 4” into 3” duals plus added straight through mufflers on each side to quiet it down, looks nice since I put on TRD exhaust tips, haha.

Only if I depress the throttle more than 40% other than that its just like any other normal LS swapped 1st gen :)

Pulled them down to .033-.034! Thanks for heads up.

Progress.. Diff went in much easier than than coming out so that was nice! Ball joints done! Work on gauges tonight hopefully and then exhaust over the weekend! Still gotta through the new colder thermostat in too I forgot about... but ill get it started and running and then do that so I can do some what of a flush.

Definitely needs more meat in the rear. Knowing who the owner is. ;)
