    Yup.
I'm in boost a lot of the time when going up the grades to get to the trails I go to up at higher elevations. I would imagine it be better if it were flat hwy the whole tank. That and being a 4cyl trying to push around a heavy truck with poor aerodynamics doesn't help.
That's why I was curious to hear what others are getting. Obviously there are a lot of factors that come into play though.

The best I get is 19mpg. I'm right around 17 usually. Sand puts me in the single digits.
    2rz, 2wd 5spd, 33" MT, 4.56, about 4.5k lbs.

Best that I have ever gotten was on a road trip. Was about 33mpg. Using the Haltech.

12psi, but I rarely need to punch it hard on dirt.

I’ve been getting 13-14 on my Turbo 2TR with the new full time AWD case. Still using the MAPECU3 piggyback. The new trans has a better overdrive so it cruises around 2600rpm at 75mph

This is with stock 4.10s on 34s

    That's better than my car.

I think it's the 33's. Everyone I know on 35s are around 15 and lower. Unless you have a tundra. You get better mileage with a tundra on 35s.

    Correct.

I was coming back from a day at Rally Ready. I decided that I would try and just take it easy on the return trip. Unlike my normal self. Pretty sure that I documented it in my build thread. I was shocked and excited. I couldn't remember the last time that I even made 20 mpg prior to that. The low-medium load portions of the tune must be spot on. The high load sucks down fuel for sure.

11psi peak, 7 below 3000rpm on a 3.4 with Haltech on regular WA 92 octane. 4.56 gears with 35s and about 4400lbs of weight. Highway driving I'm good for 17mpg, occasionally see 18mpg. Combined city driving I get the same as you, 13mpg or so. But I also drive like a dick in the city, every excuse to hit boost or smack limiter and squeal tires so I could probably do better if I actually tried. I don't usually measure my MPG on the trail so I don't have any data for you there.

When going up to a 35, it put my hwy cruising rpms in a better range at like 2700 rpm versus 3k with my 33's. But they're heavier which I think pretty much negates that

I'm the same way with my city driving. Heavy foot cause I like to hear the fun blower noises.
Being that the blower takes some inherent HP to run it, makes me wonder how much mpg loss that equates to.
    Damn air powered turbos....

What were you getting before boost? My na 3rz 4x4 single cab on 31”s was only getting 15 combined.

About 14-15 or so at best i believe. That was with the same axle gears on 33s though. Had to have my pedal to the floor a lot of the time

Been goofing around with a different manifold concept in my spare time. Lumberjack style (it's a log)..

    20230829_144945.jpg 20230829_150008.jpg 20230830_113329.jpg 20230830_114016.jpg 20230830_114256.jpg 20230830_143941.jpg 20230831_095546.jpg 20230831_161249.jpg

That's about where it's at for now. Need to remove the other one to make gate and final cross over.

The other one has a better runner/collector but a smaller cross over. This one has not as good runners but larger cross over. Weird mixed bag, will be interesting to see any differences. Make no mistake, current setup rips!

Original version for reference. Cross over necks down. It was easier at the time. I wanted to make the same thing but with a larger cross over, but with the material on hand I figured I would try something else.

My last one was like this kind of. Sometimes it is a manner of fitment that takes precedence over want of style. Regardless, your manifold has been proven to work very well in many applications. Laminar flow from the crossing over bank will create good scavenging anyway.

Plus your welds are mint!
