    Any of you guys messed with seafoam, thinking of doing the fogging type to try to get ready for the turbo.

    The fogger goes right before the throttle body and sprays in vs the regular seafoam in vacuum line trick

    Nope. It is abrasive. Through the tank with VP Racing or Redline S1 or both fuel system cleaners. High concentrations to clean off contaminants and injectors, without damaging components.

    Bw s256 turbo with 3 in glass pack dumped pre axle raptor liner bed and top rails and fenderflares and rocker panels. Hunter side steps. Plasti-dipped upper fenders and emblems. satin black spray paint here and there inside and out. 5100's set to 1.75" up front . C channel front bumper. Maxxis bighorn 255/85/16
    Would it not, in theory, help clean the intake runners though thru the intake or vacuum line that would be missed by hist using in the gas tank?

    Gotcha, so it says 1 oz per gallon....1st gen holds 18 gallons. So like 20 oz?

    I'll try the redline stuff, maybe couple more oz than called for

    I may be canceling the turbo project and just go ls1 if I can figure out if an r154 will work with an adapter so i can use my factory t case

    Been hearing a ticking and my neibor thinks it's lifters or rockers, speeds up with rpms.
    Don't want to destroy a motor

    I installed mine at 218000 miles. In the cold if I try to take off before worming up it makes a lot of lifter noise that was before the turbo.

    Might need to adjust the loft on the cams. Not hard but time consuming.

    Fat Bobs 2.75 lift and level with short AAL, 16x8 Level 8 Guardian Wheels, 245/75R16 Toyo Open Country ATII, custom trans shift kit(home made), Trans temp. and Vac gauge, URD fuel pump upgrade(going back to stock soon).
    0W-40 has a high film strength so it will stay on the bearings under heavy stress. If your pushing even harder try a 5W-40 diesel oil. Most of them are also SN rated these days.

    My remanufactured head is super loud. Think it my timing tensioner. Sounds like a diesel. Trying to kill it, but everything else breaks. All my valves are in spec. Plans to build up the oem head anyways when I can get the rest of the truck beefed up first.

    Might try that, just changed the oil this morning

    I am thinking that if I do do it I could throw in a stage 2 or so head with a stage 2 cam and forged 9:5:1 pistons and boost the shit out of it instead of waiting

    I just got the Euro Spec 0w-40 at Walmart the other day. $25 for the 5qt just plus another $6 for the single quart
