    well were are u located? you can pick one up in your local junk yard, your bell housing bolts right up to it your drive shaft wil work, the cluch will also work, the only thing you might have to mod is the trans suport mount and as far as i can see thats not going to be a problem to you.

    this is the trans im running in my car and it works great, but later i might change it to a r154 but will see,

    ^bismarck ND. Ive called all local salvage yards, no one has a tacoma on the lot. theres a lot more that just the "trans". I will need clutch assembly, master cylinder, all hydraulic lines, new steering column, upgraded clutch of some sort, ecu and the list goes on... as of right now, im not ready to do a 5speed swap. Maybe when I get back next January, but right now, a built auto is the best idea.

    No sir... unfortunately. A built auto with a 3500 rpm stall will rape a manual at the track anyday.
