Brian's got you pointed in the right direction with the Turbo BS Thread.
It can most certainly be done, and being that you're an early 2nd-gen, your SAIS system is even easier to bypass/remove.
My 2013 is boosted since January with about 5k on it and not a single issue. Sourcing the manifold and downpipe will be your biggest issue. I got mine via Shanghai Waystar on Alibaba, and had to have it imported myself. Everything else I sourced myself (turbo, fittings, intercooler, etc) so there's no actual "kit" that's worth buying. OzBoost makes one, but it's a dumpster fire of a kit.

All I can say is it's totally worth it!

Here is my buddy's URD Charged 2.7. A stage 2 kit is en route, for more boost goodness. He was going to do a turbo setup, but got this one used with a URD. So why not just upgrade it.

Like @dirtdigginjoe stated, you can source the turbo header from where he listed. The ask away in the turbo BS thread.

Ok so if I put supercharged on it. Would I have to install a stronger clutch?

Regardless of boost multiplier, yes, or at least reasonably soon there after.

100% yes lol. My clutch started slipping like 2 weeks after install, and that was only on about 4psi of boost lol.
I went with the LCE Dual Comp clutch, which is capable of 385hp range...more than I need.

Make an Alibaba account, and look up Shanghai Waystar and inquire about getting a "sample" of their 2TR manifold and downpipe. Cost varies, but I got it for half what OzBoost was charging.

Which other mods do you have, and which pulley is on there?

Edit*** I take it that the pulley, is an 80mm. Due to the sharpie marks.
