I want to be able to smoke 33s and not my axle lol and something beefy for the trails would only help

It's less Tacoma and more mod
I can tell you from lighting up 33s it'll do it and all you would to bulletproof that is the Chromoly shafts that @Matic has. 120 degrees of twist and 8000lb ft breaking force. Put an ARB locker in and all you ever have to worry about were wheel bearings and only if you wheel a lot.

DS is what I worry about breaking, seems like it wouldn't hold up to many clutch drops with huge tires. The trans is pretty beefy but a weak link too with boost.

I guess my question is would you suggest doing something like that? ADS coils in the front and dakar and billys in the back?

If thats all the budget allows sure it has worked for me but you will notice the rear is a tad rough compared to the high end stuff on the front

The chromos I got came from trail gear/all pro.
They only offer NON ABS only and they were dirt cheap. So cheap, I bought an extra set for trail spares.

If you have ABS, you might have to look at nitro or some of the other companies that sell chromo.

Worth every penny. I was surprised at how easy the flanges bent on my stock Toyota axle.

Around 300-350 until I build the block...
And swap a stronger trans in :anonymous:

Also there is no set rating for the rear end it depends on alot of factors on when or how it breaks

Something R series but I haven’t looked into the gear ratios yet to actually decide

It looks like the front drive shaft is on the same side. Might be cake walk comparatively

Getting ready to install the haltech this week! Have to wire and burn in some bungs for the afr and stock wide band but I can’t believe I’m getting close. Hopefully the haltech/sensor stuff goes pretty smooth
