Hey man! Finally joined the party in here!

My question/observation, is for the vacuum hose that I see, routed from the compressor housing to the BOV. Do you still have it like that or have you changed its sourcing?

Also, have you fired up that Haltech yet, and fiddled around?

Where should I source the bov? The TB? I thought you wanted the waste gate and bov sourced from the housing? Enlighten me... lol.. and no I haven’t fired up the haltech yet I still need to boost refrence it along with melt in some sensor bungs. I’m still trying to figure out how to tie in my haltech afr sensor and the wb1 system for it to the ecu

BOV from a vacuum/boost source. Typically post TB. I believe that @boostedka knows which TB port does both.

The wastegate, can go from the compressor cover. However, the pressure drop between the outlet of the compressor to the intake manifold can be anywhere from 1psi to 5psi(worst case obviously). Referenced against your spring rating and altitude, you may notice that not enough boost is being made. Thus moving to a source closer to or from the manifold would be necessary to match the springs rating.

So do you just typically plug the housing outlet??

Prior to turning it on, create an ESP account with Haltech. That way you can update the the firmware to the most current version, as well as the ESP software. Do the both of those when the laptop is physically connected to the Haltech and the Haltech tuning is connected.

As for the Haltech. @arcenik has his file in the turbo BS thread, if you haven’t downloaded it already. At least for a point of reference.

Yup. It just depends though. Compressor port to wastegate port. If boost is lower than expected, then put a nipple on the charge pipe near the TB, or find a vacuum port post TB.

I hooked up my BOV to the front of the intake manifold. The ports on the top of the TB did not pull nearly enough vac to open up the BOV when letting off the throttle. There was an unused port on the front of the intake mani that had a bolt capping it off. I replaced that cap with a threaded nipple to connect the BOV to.

I also did that on the back of the mani as well to use for the boost gauge and FPR.

For the WG, I just hooked it up to the port on the turbo'd compressor housing. I didn't have any issues running it this way. It definitely makes for a different (higher) reading than you'd get at the manifold, but I figure that could be a bit of a safety feature too in that you're motor is seeing slight less boost than your WG is. IDK if that logic makes sense but it worked for my set up.
This video kind of shows the WG connection as well as the BOV connection. (I later swapped back to the TurboSmart BOV, but hooked it up the same way)

Here's the Back of the Mani:

    Do
Did you get the Haltech WB1? it should be a CAN connection to the Haltech ECU, I think I did have to buy or convert the plug, as the Widebands have not been updated to the new CAN connection.

Yes i did but it looks though the elite 500 only had one big plug then where the computer wouldn’t hook up

Looks like the 550 only has the Can wiring in the harness you just need to wire it in to the Can high, low and power and ground. 4 wires not that hard to do.

Ran great. Sounded and ran just like stock until it hit boost. Then it pulled pretty decent. It added about 80 wheel hp

It's already been on a Dyno? What was the HP at the wheels? I know togoTo rated the 3rz 155hp/177tq, but those are crank numbers. What Rpm does boost start coming on, and what is peak boost?

Btw, OP, truck looks awesome also
