Yeah I might get it powdercoated down the line but for now the hi temp ceramic enamel should be good it’ll also give ke good idea of how blue looks. All my intake couplers are blue and so is my bov and wastegate. With a red turbo for a bit of bling lol. Not sure what im going to do with my header being in new England i dont want to trap moisture in ther if i don’t have to but I think I’ll need some sort of heat shielding

I’m really glad I decided to do this though I’ve learned alot already about my motor and am getting really comfortable working on it

Are you going to run the mesh exclusively or for tuning? I remember my buddy ran mesh on his 300zx for a long time and it ended up eating a compressor wheel over time and it shortens engine bore life too (oil changes all the time). Looks and sounds awesome though, so much spool sound haha :) Thinking I might buy the KO racing kit for shits and giggles soon...

Pic of the ZX becasue why not...

I plan on running the mesh all the tine besides time in the dirt... I’m okay with a shorter oil interval that is required when running just a screen. Also eventually plan on building a spare block with internals so if I only get a few yrs out of this one so be it

Ohh man if I could get a steady stream of 3RZ blocks I'd love to build a backup or two. Good idea! Hoping the KO kit fits easily enough so I can just get right to business.

Luckily there are a ton of blocks out there as our trucks are hitting the golden years of their life. The American thought that a vehicle is dead at 200k is great for us

My problem now is I decided to put huge injectors and big fuel rail but now i need to upgrade all my fuel lines to do so and I’m pretty green with the fuel line stuff so ordering parts for it has been interesting

We had to do all of that for 800cc injectors on that 300zx, I hate putting AN fittings on steel braided line, it's a skill for sure. You'll get it though

Everything of mine is custom so no mine would not but if you had the right flange then yes this stuff could work on your truck infactbthe newer motors cone with more forged components and i belive a better throttle body setup as far as IC piping is concerned

Those are big for sure, gotta be bigger on a 4cyl than a 6cyl haha. Your turbo looks a lot bigger than that Holset HX35 too, what are you expecting for time to full spool?

No problem if you’re serious you should contact luis at paradise racing. He loves Toyota 4cyl and can custom make your exhaust. He did mine and the welds look phenomenal

Oh man, wet shot and a large turbo.... yeah you should def have a second shortblock ready haha. Sounds like lots of fun, I'm gonna just be happy to have some turbo noises and a little extra torque and speed.

Yeah realistically I won’t mess with that for a year. I want to get comfortable with the tuning and the haltech and build from 8 to around 14 psi over the first year that way when i throw money into bulletproofing a block I know how to tune the friggen thing.
