im all over the place with my mods.

First, i just wanted a Intake to increase hp but realized its not worth 300 bucks for about 5hp and sound.

now i realized im just going to save up for a supercharger/turbocharger.

i have a few questions on both tho.

    ESTIMATIONS

    supercharger price - ??
    turbocharger price - ??

    supercharger hp gain - ??
    turbocharger hp gain - ??

    supercharger with intake - ?
    turbocharger with intake - ?

    sigh

    im just lost.

def go with the TRD supercharger. Looking at about $4600ish installed, I think. if you search "supercharger" in this website it will bring back all sorts of discussions.

Everyones opinion is going to vary. Superchargers offer a different power delivery than Turbochargers. As the TRD supercharger is made for the truck, I think it would be the most finacially prudent option.

true lots of arguments in there. The main reason I say go with the TRD Supercharger is it will be warranted (sp?).

The only turbo "kit" for the 4.0 Tacoma is the STS kit, which gives about 50 h.p. over stock (Im guessing based on experiance), while the supercharger has been giveing people right at 300 h.p. or more to the tires.

Dont even consider turboing your 4.0. Unless you're willing to spend in the upward of 10k.

Forced injection FTW!!! If you can turbo, might as well supercharge!
