Oh yea! That trip was really one to remember! We nicknamed it "trail carnage 2013". @JeepAndrew and @mh.meier were the only ones who had ever run rug road before and the rest of us really didn't understand that this was a 5-6 hour trail, and that's IF you're hauling ass, which we definitely weren't doing with 14 rigs on the trail. Everyone was hammered by noon-ish and with three hours plus of trail repairs on multiple rigs (we left two on the trail), we didn't hit camp until dusk. I think some of us were up until 3 or 4 drinking and partying. Then we hauled ass in the morning. Me, @snowtank and @TroCo were the only ones who opted to take rug road on the way out. I smashed my bumper up into my tail light and broke it all to hell and @snowtank pinched his exhaust pipe almost closed and his 4×4 actuator locked up in 4-low so his wife had to start the drive down from show low at like 11:00pm on Sunday night so he could make it to work on Monday. After that trip we decided that rug road runs needed to be Friday through Sunday. If I'm leaving out any of the good stuff, I'm sure someone who was there will jump in and add the details I was probably blacked out for.

On a completely unrelated note, I just polished off the bottle of wine my wife opened earlier and on my last swig I discovered that she pushed the cork into the bottle when she opened it. Totally fucked up my buzz with that corky ass tasting mouthful.:pout:

I don’t think it’ll be that cold where we’re going, Willcox is a lot higher altitude.

Mix some kraken rum in with the apple cider and you're guaranteed twice as many nuzzles from this guy!
