    No not an old one. The beards on our birds are usually kind of thin we have lots of briars and thick brush where we hunt.

    they wont if they got some hens ;) I had the same thing the other day, they were gobbling but I did see them about 400 yds away with a couple hens.

    They may leave those hens later in the day, sometimes the later morning is a good opportunity.

    its all the other stuff. they cant hear your calls as well, you cant hear them..
    calls get wet, and wont make noise..

    If you have a popup blind that works great! I dont like sitting in the rain, BUT I need to get a good rain suit and bundle up and then Im good with it ;)
