    Day 7 update,lol.
Wicked fog and drizzle to start this morning. Needed a white cane to get to the spot.
Got sunny and about 59* when I was ready to leave.
I glassed a lone hen walking along the tree line early on. That's all folks.
May be my last hunt this Spring. Work next week and goof off time is about over.
It was nice managing a solid 2 weeks for Turkey this year.
Maybe I'll try in a couple weeks, but it's pretty shot by then.
Spied these 2 in between the fog banks...

Turkey hunting started a few weeks ago here in PA. Called in 2 the first day my buddy rushed a shot so I shot as well certainly were out of range no kills.. Called in another this Saturday learned my lesson rushing it so I waited well it never came any closer should've tried to shoot was questionable in range...

Anyone running Woodhaven Calls? Looking at picking up a box call and a friction call but I can't decide on which of thier models to get. Looking for feedback/advice.

I havent used their brand specifically but Ive had good luck calling toms in with box calls and mouth calls. I get a response with slate but not as good. I pulled one tom in from about 500yds down to 5yds...by that time I didnt have the heart to shoot him..

I usually mix it up between a box call and a friction call. Box call for long distance or windy days then a friction if I want something softer.

just have to be careful when putting down the box call so it doesnt make any noise otherwise they alert and take off. LOL

This is my strategy as well. Hopefully it works just as well this year as years prior!
