    When the truck was brand new, I took it to my favorite body shop. I would have paid them to color match it. They wouldn't do it. They said it's plastic, and they often have paint adhesion problems when painting on plastic, since they can't bake it at high temperature after they spray it, so it wasn't worth the risk that it would flake or peel and I'd come back unhappy.

    After that I just learned to live with it.

    Those both sound like good deals to me! Love and hate being frugal all the time though! Love the fact that I can make the best out of something others won't. Hate the fact that I can't afford to buy things new and problem free. :rolleyes:
