I have xp x64, but i tried to dual boot, i have another partition, they say that you should install older OS first, I followed instructions and couldn't get it to work, I don't want to get rid of xp right now coz i have a lot of software i dont know it will run on 7, thats why I wanted to dual boot...

    Windows 7 has "XP Mode" which is a Virtual PC instance that can be embedded so to speak so XP apps install and run within 7 (show up on the start menu, desktop, etc) much like Parallels for Mac's.

    Free too! http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/download.aspx I tried running it on the VM I used for 7, but it requires CPU virtulization so a VM doesn't work. Like running a VM within a VM.
