    gap should be 1/2" - 3/4" if you like your fenders. the closer you go the more you risk ripping them off when the body/frame flex.

    I see. I get my new fog lights tomorrow so I'll crank them all down then and see what kind of gap there is. Would I need more room if I removed my sway bar?

    I have mine at just under 1/2", no sway bar and it does "touch" when he frame is twisted up a bit

    My fenders are fiberglass, fit like shit and are not parallel at the bottom (end rant), so far no big issue though. I should to lower it a touch however. I don't think the sway bar makes any difference tho. Best bet is to set it low, go out and flex it enough to get a tire off the ground, measure and go with that. Would def be a bummer to put a wrinkle in a fender just cuz a 1/4" differnece in gap.

    Haha, I see. Well honestly I want to remove the fenders and see how that looks. I plan on moving up to 255/85's and will probably end up tearing them off on accident anyways.

    Should be no problems with that tire size with regard to the fenders. I tore my stock fenders/flares all to shit with 285's so i went to baby glass fenders (2"rise/3"bulge) to ensure clearance. Now all I have is minor rub in the ass end at full stuff. 255/85's are a really good fitting tire on these trucks if you don't want to hack em up too much, you'll be sure stoked with em.
