I'm currently planning a summer road trip to a few colleges I'm considering transferring to in the next year or so and am looking for the best roads to take and any great stops along the way. Of course I need a way back, but where should I go through Colorado, Utah, and Nevada? Being that I have a 2wd I can't do anything extreme, and the goal of the trip isn't to break something, but that doesn't mean the maxtrax can't come along :) What are some great trails or parks, which highways are scenic, and where should I stop (no camping, others aren't up to it)? I'd love to get some input from those of you who've traveled and live in these areas. Time goal for this trip is about a week, maybe a day or two longer. There's bound to be a lot to see between NorCal, OR, ID, MT, CO, UT, and NV, so let me hear it!
