    We gave up on vb when they were bought out and the software started taking a nose dive. The new software we're using is xenforo. I would highly recommend it.

    Noted. Thanks for the recommendation. Been looking at options for better FB integration (catch 22 IMO) and other social media plugins and features. XenForo looks promising.

    Yes they're handled properly now in terms of read/unread threads with the new software. And they're good with milk

    It has built in FB integration. I don't have it enabled on tundras.com so far but you can see it in action at the official xenforo site.

    Is this something you plan on using at some point or are you against FB integration? If so, why?

    I gotta say, having a vB 5 license and sitting on it waiting for them to work out bugs (been waiting a year) is muey frustrating. Seems they are in a downward spiral and losing lots of big boards. I've really noticed a lack of response/give a damn in their own "vB forum" or whatever you want to call it. Support is horrible really for what you pay (it was $250 a year ago).

    I might enable it. One benefit is people can actually register using their fb login, which saves the hassle of remembering another password. Feel free to pm me if you wanna talk shop about forum software things.
