I posted on diyma, but no one is commenting. Hopefully I have better luck with fellow Tacoma owners.

I would like some help in choosing a tweeter to go well with what I haLve. I know the Cal25 VOF or Cal26 would be a great choice, but I can't afford new or used unless they are at or under $150. That is my limit for purchasing a pair. I will be running passive.

Here is my setup. Its in a 06 DBL Cab Tacoma.

    HU - Sony dsx-s310btx
    Amp - Alpine PDX-5
Tweeter - None (will be in kick panel)
Midrange - Rainbow SLC 4" (in kick panel)
Woofer - Rainbow SLC 6.5" (in front doors)
    Passive Crossover - Rainbow
    Q Logic Kick Panels
    Sub - Sundown SD-10
    Sealed box

And now for an intelligent answer...

Your best option is to spring for a Rainbow, or try to find the Blaupunkt tweeter that is a clone of the Rainbow (and sounds quite good, in my experience).

That crossover is designed for a certain driver - depending on the crossover frequency, you may be able to use a few (if its a low crossover), or a bunch (if its a high crossover), but without knowing that info, its a crapshoot.

Check out Madisound and Parts express for a bunch of options.
