The hose clamps go under the crossbars. I got the tire valve off of Amazon. And I drilled the holes out.

Did you use cement glue? I remember you saying that you had some problems with air leaking after you filled it up with air

I used the purple cleaner and the PVC cement. I think the problem is that I over pressurized it the first time I used it. My plan is to use flex seal or flex tape or something before the summer.

Thanks to @EatSleepTacos once again. I got my new LT rear end from @Dobinsons Mike and the brake lines from Crown Performance.

This is really well engineered and definitely gonna be fun to use on the trails.

Full droop before was 27" from fender to center hub, after is ~32.5". Very happy with this product. The lower arms will be going on later in the week.

Thanks for the link Tyler! I really like that you made it a dual tube design! This is something I definitely want/need to do. I am too skanky to go the baby wipe route. Have you measured how much water this holds? I'm much larger than you and my ass gets extremely funky so I am thinking I may need a 3 or 4 tube design with 12" :anonymous:

If my calculations are correct, if it were completely full with no air at all, then it would hold just over 5.5 gallons.

Wow, that's definitely what I am shooting for. Costco sells one and it is like $150 and holds less than 4 gals. Definitely not how I want to spend my money. I'd rather construct one like you did.

Welded a fuel can holder (courtesy of @EatSleepTacos ) to my second swing arm. Also added a trasharoo to the spare tire.

Got the chance to stretch out the new suspension at Potts Mt. It performed excellently. It stayed planted most of the day, and felt really solid in off camber situations.

However I need to add spacers now because the tires rub the inner fender liner at extreme articulation.

Got this in the mail today. Powertrax Lockright Mechanical Locker. I've done a lot of research on whether or not this will work on the 4Runner, since I cannot find any examples of anyone installing one on a 5th gen. Everything pointed to yes, including the guys over at ECGS saying that they agree it should work just fine, so I decided to pull the trigger. I will be meeting with @EatSleepTacos to install it sometime soon, then I will be doing a write-up on it on here as well as t4r.org once we finish and confirm it works.

Since I have recently done the daily driver mod, I do not drive the 4runner around town much and as such am not as worried about the road manners. I've also gotten to the point where ATRAC has started to let me down on some obstacles, so it's time for a locker.

Installed the Powertrax LockRight 1620-LR yesterday. Everything went surprisingly smooth. We ended up finding and following a write-up for a 3rd gen 4runner install, which is almost the exact same process. I might end up doing my own write-up on t4r.org explaining the differences.

Overall install time was about 4 hours and then waiting on the gasket to dry overnight.

The one thing I have noticed is that the Lockright does click a lot around turns, which doesnt bother me at all, but it might bother some. It's not a crazy loud clicking, and I can only hear it with my windows down, but it is still noticable.
