This week I took a trip home to TN to visit the parents for Christmas. I used this time to use my Dad's tools and knowledge, with the help of my grandpa, to build a drawer system for the 4runner. We used 3/4 inch plywood for most everything. The left side is a drawer, the right side is a cabinet for my future on-board water system. We used blue because we already had blue exterior paint and it almost matches the 4R.

On top is some of my Christmas haul. Got a new cooler, a plano case, some tools, and a good amount of camping gear. It's been a good week and I was happy to come home and also to have 2 really experienced builders help me with this project.

Thanks! I wasn't excited about the blue at first, but it turned out nicely

Finally got something to update on this thread. lol.

This weekend, went cold weather camping with @EatSleepTacos and @fatfurious2 in Green Ridge. While there, myself and EST decided to do some wheeling. I have footage of it on my dashcam, but I haven't pulled it off yet.

Also update on the actual build: I ordered some sliders from @Mobtown Offroad a few weeks ago. Pretty excited for those to be finished and to see their work on my truck. They put out a great product and I cannot wait to have the sliders installed. Also working a deal right now with a member from T4R.org for a used OME suspension with low mileage on it. Nitros with 883's and 895e's. Eventually I will upgrade to 885's and some beefier rear springs, but for now 883's will be fine. The suspension should be in in a week or so. The next couple months will mean some much needed upgrades on the 4R.

Anyways, here are some pics from the trip.

Thanks! The husky is my little nutball, and the toy poodle belongs to a friend from work who also went with us. They also brought their Rhodesian Ridge-back, but she was cold as hell, and stayed in their vehicle most of the time.

You'll have to come camping for sandwiches. I don't make them for just anyone.

Time for you to make a roadtrip!!:burnrubber:

Got my new suspension in. Bought a full OME setup for around 550 shipped to my door. Got 883's in the front and 895e's in the rear. Eventually I will upgrade to a beefier set of springs, but this is good for now. I bought them used with 10k miles on them, so I can't complain for that price. Got @EatSleepTacos help installing it. Took about 3 ish hours to do and didn't have any issues at all. I gained just shy of 2 inches of lift all the way around.

Best before and after pics I have. It's not much, but it's just barely noticable.
