Had fun back in sb again. 2 weekends in a row. Might as well move back

 

Had someone lose their mind at the runner this weekend when I was in Starbucks. Made me love it all over again.

Sounds lame but driving it daily and I never fully fall in love with vehicles so I never see it or think of it as "cool". Lately though I don't know if it's because people are out more but I even have bikers pass me and throw out the Shaka. Been making me like the runner more and more.

Having some engine related whine for the last few weeks. Sounds like an SC, but not as loud.

Rises and drops with RPM, does it in park and in neutral so not trans related.

Normal for 4Rs or should I see the dealer?

Haven't had an oil change interval yet, but will in another 1k miles or so. Just rolled 41,100 miles this weekend.

 

That dude for sure ran out of gas at a bad time and decided that he is never doing that again.

 

Going in tomorrow for the leaking diff only noticed a single drop worth of residue on it while looking so obviously there's something there... hopefully a one off.

 

go see the dealer, especially since its "new" to you. Could be a pully or tensioner going.
