True, there is a 89 v6 with a blown motor in good shape by Reno. Tempted to try and get it t cheap and toss the 3.4 from the 99 in and sell the 99 for parts. Probably break even.

This is true as well and I debated it. Although I’ve also thought of just towing the 1st gen behind the Tundra since they are light. Could just get a simple two wheel dolly since I could stick the front wheels unlocked, that way I don’t have to store a giant flat bed. Although at this time I really just want a fun vehicle to drive around and do moderate trails with, so the 1st gen would be a slow build. Eventually if I get more of an income I’d love to really build it, but right now I can’t pay for the big boy toys (transfer cases, 37’s and armor).

Already? What happened to it being “set” from the lot? Hahaha

Couldn’t turn it down at $300 with awning mounts. Selling my Softopper to fund this as I used it once this summer and the shell stays on all other seasons. Didn’t really justify keeping it around.

Hmmm, might have to look into that upgrade eventually. Although no clue what I’d need the cab rack for. Really only getting the shell one for the RTT.

I think the trailer pre-qualified you for the club.
