But excuse my ignorance on this question.
My guess is the 4Runner becomes mostly a trail rig after this. And towed by the F150?
So why do a F150 tank swap instead of a fuel cell mounted in the back? Keep it inside the car and move it out from possibly getting hit

Not the correct year F150. F150 is tow pig until I get a real job in 2019. Then it’s F250 time. I’m actually going to look at a 2016 RAM 2500 diesel with a 6 speed manual on Friday. Want to see how fun it would be as a daily.

    So about the fuel cell?

Nice! Shit adds up fast, I just dropped $400 on just the ends. You just missed 20% off, @4Running Daily was saying they do the 20 off frequently if you can wait.

Absolutely, I have made quite a few 1/4” tabs, brackets, whatever pieces that could have been bought for a few bucks and I regret it every time.

The one thing I really like about this group is we always do things for a purpose. Where as the Tacoma guys LOVE to buy random shit and never use it. Unless you count buying a $1200 ARB fridge to keep your cucumber water cold in the parking lot at a dead end job.

I wish I had a fridge. Water log sucks if you’re out for a couple days. My big deal is, if I had a cooler, I’d use it all the time. Currently, it’s hard to justify packing up my 45 RTIC for a day trip.

I've noticed that with a lot of the trucks I see for sale here. A Tacoma that's a few years old, perfect condition never seen dirt, but with 15k in suspension, diffs, etc.

I would love to have a fridge, but I currently wouldn't use it enough and I need the space inside the 4runner since I sleep back there when I'm out often. So for now my Walmart coolers will have to do.

I love my fridge sooo amazing and easy. Like you guys said food doesn’t get water logged and just goes back in the fridge at home if it doesn’t get used.

Abuse like banging around in the back of a long travel vehicle?
My buddy had one is his 4runner and it did just fine. He was always stoked when the eggs didn’t explode.

    Switch to whiskey...
Takes up less space, even tastier chilled and you can get buzzed the whole weekend on a bottle.

Chilled to me is better than over ice. Found I drink less and don't feel as shitty in the morning with Jack vs tons of beers.

Is the 2nd o2 sensor pre or post 2nd cat. If it's pre then the rear cat isn't monitored so you won't have to worry about removing it

Thats a resonator. You have a muffler before the rear axle too I'm pretty sure

That resonator is what is known as a spun body because it's spun from a piece of tube. And also one of my newer projects at work hahaha kill me

The Magnaflow cats are fantastic and better than anything else on the market. The mufflers are just kind of eh. Pick a brand basically. Better off listening to youtube clips of 3.4l tacoma's and 4Runners. Bigger the muffler, the quieter obviously.

The cats are really really good. We legitimately paid multi-millions of dollars for a custom made machine that no one else has. Cats are the main source of income. I'd just get a fed if you're passing smog the BS way. The only thing that changes between the two is the type of wash we use on the honeycomb mesh.

Lame... the 4th gen rear cats aren't monitored and my cats are shit since the engine melted down. Gonna remove the secondaries and rebuild the 2 primaries for $800 because they are $1000 a piece
