What a fun day. Pulled the rear diff to fix the o rings in the locker and discover a tear in one of my axle seals. Lucky for me a local guy had one and brought it to me. Put it all back together and there are no visable oil leaks and the lockers held air for 15 min with the compressor not kicking on. I guess we will see in a few weeks if I get oil in my line under the hood, hopefully not.

Mine were square cut and grooved so you couldn’t really twist em. The new ones were deff tight going on though.

Alright so I'm coming up on inspection and have a CEL that's preventing me from passing.

The 4R doesn't seem to have changed much in its performance but gas mileage has definitely gotten worse and it smells a lot like gas (more than it did when I bought it last January).

    My code scanner is showing: P0012, P0012 P, P0022, P0022 P.

If I remember correctly the previous owner told me something about it needing a cam position sensor but I haven't done any mechanical work except change the oil a while back.

Anyone know what the issue could be, and what I'm up against in terms of repairs?

is nice, no thanks to manual though. I cant fit in any new vehicle unless the seat seriously drops low. I hate it.

The manual was super fun hahaha. Thats the only reason I test drove it. I'd buy one.

    Just bought a 220V Welder

Really want to test drive a new Camry. Really like what they did with them. But afraid I’ll come home with a car payment

I'm sure the manual would be fun in there, but I can't unsee how ridiculous it looks.

    Car payments bad.

I just like the look of the Camry more than the new accord. Interior and exterior. I have read that the accord rides a little better though.

My brother just got the new civic touring with every option out there. Really nice and comfortable. Every time I ride in it, it makes me think about a daily

I've typically only seen those codes on vehicles that have had a lack of maintenance/oil changes. Those are timing correlation codes. Most the time they have stretched timing chains. Ever done any major engine work?

You might throw the oil control valves in it to start, otherwise it is timing cover tear down and inspection

My work got me a new ride for the new year. A 2018 Dodge Caravan. It's way nicer than the old one I had. The 3.6 has a throaty exhaust so it sounds like your driving something more sporty than you are.
I haul around a lot of stuff so it's the right vehicle for what I do. I'm in it way more than my 4Runner so it's nice to be in a new car most of the day. Plus it and the gas are free to me so I can't complain.
