Wow that’s shitty. I tried that spot with just a rear locker and couldn’t get up it.
The tacoma behind me had two lockers and walked up it, I felt very defeated.

Would like to know why he lost brakes and everything.

It’s shouldn’t have cut off from that. There has to be more to it.

If he stalled it, in a manual, he probably pushed the clutch in trying to save it, and then it rolled backwards. Personal guess. But manual brakes aren’t bad to the point you wouldn’t slow at all

Damn, that sucks, I know that spot well, it is super steep but he definitely went into that with the wrong idea, slow and steady for sure. Even if he didn't roll backwards, he was going sideways into some dips and cracks that would have possibly led to a roll as well. That is pretty much what would have happened to me when my brake line burst last fall out there, luckily I was at the top of my climb and just trying to stop rather than prevent a roll back.

I just got the chance to actually look at them since I've been stuck at school all week. I'm pretty impressed with the overall build of them, these definitely shouldn't bend.

Are yours with johnny joints? If so, how do you like them? How often do you grease them?

Mine have the Johnny joints. I’ve greased them once at install haven’t needed to since.

Your drawer setup makes me warm inside. I should be studying for finals but I can't help but looking at them and designing my own.

What made you do Durabak/LineX? Did you do the inside of the left drawer too?

I love my drawer set up so far.

I only did the exterior of the drawer. I didn’t want to stain them and figured a lineX like material would be perfect for this project.

Well I finally broke my first cv axle. Ran Potts Mountain Jeep Trail and it was a fun one.

Nice work! I still haven’t broken one yet (knocks on wood), but I am usually pretty careful when things start binding up. How’d It happen?
