    I’ve wheeled with a couple of them xjs and when they work, they work great. I’ve also towed a couple back to camp.

    Can’t blame you for buying something you know the history of and if it’s family it’s probably a great price.

    Yeah. I've towed this one back to camp a few times lol. I'm not huge on jeeps, but for the price and the set up, it's a beast. Definitely not sold, but very interested.

    You could always buy my 3rd gen. It’s fully built. Not the prettiest paint but mechanically perfect.
    It’ll be back in Cali in July...

    Easier to pretend when at least have the switch...

    But yeah actually for what I’ve mostly done, probably only a couple times I’ve realllllly needed 4x4. 4x2 with a locker would have gotten me by. My biggest use for 4x4 tbh is for snow when I go snowboarding and to our cabin in the mountains

    When I hear XJ I always think of that group we met out at uhwarrie. Where one rolled, one ran out of gas because he knew his gas gauge didn't work and didn't put gas in it, and the other overheated... They all fixed their Jeeps that night while we made a huge fire haha
