I watched and helped Toby compete last year and I’ve watched that race for 3 years. Dude doesn’t stand a chance. He simply isn’t going to have the approach angle to get up anything. I’ll be there at the starting line to watch though for sure.

 

He’s also never said if he has any racing or wheeling experience, besides owning multiple 4WD Toyota’s.

 

Remember standing on the side of the road as we aired up and you ordered that front bumper?

 

He might start with a stock bumper but it sure as fuck wouldn't survive if he made more than a mile.

I don't know of any 4th gen 4Runner with a decent enough approach angle to clear this. Look at this Rubicon look at a penny and his approach angle is like 60 degrees!

In 2018, 27 cars competed in the 4600 class. 2 of them finished. The guy pictured above is the one who won. He started off the start line at 8:30 am and finished at 7 PM. That's 10.5 hours and he was first by an hour and a half.

That's why I think that dude is high.

Also going up isn't possible in our rigs. Departure angle would eat us alive. I watched the Cali-Fab FJ roll there last year. SAS on 40's and got laughed at and rolled.
