I like the offset, and the reinforcement, but still really single shear mounted on the outside. I am sure it makes no difference though with the tab reinforced, it and the bolt aren’t going anywhere.

I kept ovaling and bending the single shear tabs on my lowers, something like that should have fixed it, but went double shear instead.

The more I drive the 4th gen, the more I want to keep it. Think I could get more money than stock for the 2nd gen? So like 2 bucks...

Assembled the other knuckle, proud dad over here kid is almost 5 can successfully line it up and thread the bolts in. Guess letting him help a lot( read mess it up most of the time ) is paying off

Forward as in towards the bumper?
I’ve scooted my axle forward about 1 1/2”, if that makes a difference
Keep reading to move as close to front of vehicle as possible , box is nearly touching front clip now

    Yeah, towards the front bumper.

My axle looks to be shifted forward also ("Bag of Hack" I got recently).

Old recommendation is to chopup the front body mount and/or rotate the box so the shaft is more vertical (flat pitman arm time).

Rotated the box so the shaft is straight with the steering shaft, then went a tad higher. Then pushed box all the way till the back of the box contacted front clip.
What issues will run into if I don’t cut into the front clip anf make more room to shift the box farther forward?
I though I had it pretty good, but this is a first for me

With some compression the drivers side, the pitman arm/drag link will contact the tierod. Potentially prevent steering across center (right to left of left to right). Really sucks on a tough spot.

Mine is overlapping enough, there might have been some severe binding at other points of the steering today.

Then a flat arm and possible notching the frame would be the solution right? Don’t wanna go down that road but I’ve seen that a few times too

I think the flat pitman is usually for rotated boxes to avoid dropping the drag link to much. Should be able to get by without notching the frame.
